Emma McGovern
Growing up in the Magic Valley and active in sports and travel, Emma McGovern cultivated a love for an active lifestyle that she now champions for her patients. After graduating from Kimberly High School in 2013, she earned associate’s degrees from the College of Southern Idaho in Liberal Arts, English, and Health Science, building a strong academic foundation. Her path to physical therapy was inspired by firsthand experience at Wright PT working as an aide, where she witnessed the transformative power of rehabilitation.
She then successfully completed the Idaho Consortium of Physical Therapist Assistant Education Program, passed the National PTA board exam in 2025, graduating with honors, and returned to Wright PT. As a skilled physical therapist assistant, she is dedicated to guiding individuals through their recovery journeys so they can return to the things they love. When not providing exceptional patient care, she cherishes time spent with her three children reading, getting outdoors and supporting them on the ballfield. In her free time, she pursues her personal passions for hiking, running, and the arts.
