Roy Arana Flores
Roy was born in the small town of Weiser, Idaho. He attended the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho and received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science & Health in 2020. He then took a gap year gaining experience as a physical therapy tech in Pullman, Washington while he applied to physical therapy school. Roy then earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Idaho State University in 2024 in Meridian, Idaho. Roy finds passion in the human connection associated with physical therapy. He loves getting to know his patients and letting their goals and needs guide the plan of care so physical therapy can be a meaningful experience for everyone. Roy has a history of playing sports throughout his life, and the idea of fine-tuning movement to help ameliorate symptoms is a big reason why he sought a career in the profession. Roy believes that everyone can benefit from movement, and he makes sure to incorporate movements that will be fun, challenging, and beneficial into his treatment. Outside of the clinic, Roy enjoys long-distance running and lifting weights. You can also find him training his new mini weiner dog, Indie! He has music playing at all times and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Roy is also bilingual, and looks forward to serving the Treasure Valley in both English and Spanish!
