Steve Pipe
Doctor of Physical Therapy
Clinic Director
Dr. Steve Pipe’s interest in physical therapy began at a young age. He was very active growing up, which led to his fair share of injuries and plenty of time spent in physical therapy clinics. Those experiences gave him an early appreciation for how physical therapy helps people recover, get back to the activities they love, and stay active for the long haul. That personal connection played a big role in his decision to pursue physical therapy as a career.
Dr. Pipe earned his undergraduate degree from Washington State University and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint. He later completed a fellowship in Applied Functional Science, specializing in functional biomechanics to address movement dysfunction.
Before moving to Boise, Dr. Pipe spent 14 years as a clinic director and partner in a physical therapy practice near Seattle. During that time, he also coached middle school and high school basketball for more than a decade. Both roles gave him the chance to build strong relationships, lead and mentor others, and help people work toward their goals, both professionally and on the court.
Outside of work, Dr. Pipe enjoys staying active through basketball, golf, and skiing. He and his wife, Nicole, are avid sports fans who love cheering on their teams from both Seattle and Detroit. They have three teenage kids and enjoy supporting them in their activities and helping them take advantage of all that life has to offer.
